NEWBORN

This will be a slow, comfortable session. If bubs needs to take a minute, then they’ll get it. I’m not in any rush to get out the door. While your newest little one will be the star of the show, you, your other half and kids will play a big part in these photos too. Think of it as the first family photos with your newborn.

While a ‘typical’ newborn session is held when bubs is around 7-14 days old, you can choose any age to photograph your sweet babe. If you want to do a fresh 48-hour session, I’d be up for that too!

If you’re hoping for a “fresh 48-hour” session, I’m flexible and happy to work with very new babies - the key is planning ahead so we can book a session that works around your baby’s arrival.

    Booking early - ideally while you’re still pregnant - ensures we can secure your preferred dates and create a relaxed, stress-free experience for your family. Even if your baby has already arrived, I’ll do my best to find a time that suits your schedule and your newborn’s needs.

    • Feed your baby beforehand to help them settle.

    • Keep your home warm and cozy, especially if you’ll be capturing naked or wrapped poses.

    • Prepare siblings by explaining what will happen in a fun, simple way so they feel included.

    • Have favourite props or blankets ready if you want to include them - otherwise, I’ll bring safe, soft wraps and accessories.
